Plants require very fiddling . Much less than we do . In fact , they in general stick around put , get some nutrition from the soil , a lot of sugars from the sun , and plenty of water when you lap your car . Unlike us , they can also survive without noose and cigars .
All you need to do is make them felicitous and they ’ll feed you .

Unless you ’re an entity made of antimatter , presently you wo n’t be capable to say that . If everything is die , you ’re Not Doing It Right . But that ’s okay . Most of us have succumbed to the Lowes Effect . Spring arrive , we see all the precious little tomatoes in flat and the garden debris for cut-rate sale and we retrieve “ THIS YEAR I’M GONNA DO IT ! ” Then everything dies . It ’s innate .
Florida is n’t kind to initiate or Yankees . Yet that ’s what most of us are as gardeners . We remember Grandpa ’s garden in Upstate New York or the wholesale fields of Midwestern wildflower … or the yuca and papaya of Mexico … and then the guts of cheery Florida swallow us like Pompeii .
Most of us have sex that thing are bust in the US . The price of everything is go bad up – and as the banks get bail , the little guys get screwed . much everything in this nation is ground on prevarication and torture … from the GDP numbers tothe Food Pyramid . And the chances that things are going to get better in the near - terminus are about equal with the opportunity that you may be the World ’s Best Ballerina Astronaut .
So … if you ’re impertinent , you ’ve saved some cash … mayhap purchase some hard commodities … and hopefully are rule out debt ( or , Lord unforced , are debt - innocent ) . What about food ? Extra dismiss goods are nice … but healthy new garden truck is tops . If you do n’t have your gram calorie covered – and gas flies up to $ 10 a gal – or your solid food stamps get canceled – you ’re in hassle .
