More photos today fromBrenda Addington’sgarden in Suwanee , Georgia . Do n’t you think she ’s really good at incorporating ornaments into her garden in a refined fashion ? Love it ! Thanks , Brenda , for portion out your awesome garden with us .
In eccentric you missed it , here ’s what Brenda said in yesterday ’s post:“I have been garden for over 25 long time , and have been mold by my female parent ’s garden ( she ’s German ) and all the European gardens I have witness during my travels to Europe maturate up . I started this garden 6 years ago , and this is my third garden and is definitely one of my most challenging to make .
I expend the first few years digging up the beds in my backyard and filling them with nutrient - fat compost and addressing the many drain payoff . I make up one’s mind to make my garden more of a “ timberland / cottage ” style garden to fit with our surroundings since I live in a Natural Reserve Community along the Chattahoochee River . My garden consists of over 100 roses , 50 + peonies . thousands of bulbs , hydrangeas , iris , 25 Nipponese maple , and over 100 conifers . I discovered an interestingness in conifers after I realise many of my prise flowering plants suffered from the appetite of the deer ; plus conifers tot color and grain to my garden all year around .

Over the year , I have lend a lot of stonework to the garden such as a stacked stone tower arch , a fountain , stacked stone edging and stair , a juiceless creek seam , and , my deary , a gemstone bridge over the teetotal brook seam . My garden is forever develop as I explore new approximation and plants , color schemes , and ways of outfox the cervid by pretend into vertical gardening with mandrel , pergolas , trellises and even growing clematis up true pine trees ! I love colour in the garden !
Container gardening is also a passion . I screw regain unique container and make full them up with colorful plant fabric all year round . I of late create a blog to publish more information about my garden and to touch base with other gardeners atwww.thegracefulgardener.com . Connecting with other nurseryman makes me think “ outside the box ” by experimenting with new industrial plant cloth and creative idea ! ”
