A garden as therapy and de-stresser
Today we ’re in Memphis , Tennessee , visiting Renee ’s garden .
My name is Renee , and I ’ve been gardening about 11 year . We ’ve been at our current property six twelvemonth . I did all of the design and a legal age of the work myself . I also do most of the sustenance myself . When people expect me who I am , I tell them I ’m a mother / wife , a physician , and a nurseryman . In the preceding twelvemonth with the pandemic , my gardening has been specially important as a means to cope with the tension of my piece of work . I have two kids , one with limited needs . He wish to garden with me , and it has been therapeutic for him as well . Being in the garden together has become a syndicate affair . Before I became a physician I was a visual creative person , and I believe that horticulture has become my esthetic issue . There are several different areas of my garden : the back garden , therose garden , thepatio garden , the frontshade garden , and the front Sunday garden .
A beautiful view of the garden , with spire of foxglove ( Digitalispurpurea , Zones 4–9 ) .

Intensely cryptic bluehydrangea(Hydrangeamacrophylla , Zones 5–9 ) blossoms . intelligibly Renee has pass on these plants the acidulent soil that allow them to produce the bluest blooms .
A paeony ( Paeoniahybrid , Zones 3–8 ) in soft tincture of pinko .
Detail of a gorgeous David Austin cross rose , ‘ The Ancient Mariner ’ ( Zones 5–10 ) , with layer after layer of fragrant pinkish petals .

A dreamy hoi polloi of ‘ The Ancient Mariner ’ in full bloom . How good must this smell !
More gorgeous roses growing along the fence .
What a beautiful survey . I love the winding supergrass path and the clouds of pinkdogwoods(Cornusflorida , Zones 5–9 ) hanging overhead .

How witching would it be to sit back in that chair and souse up this garden scene ? I can imagine Renee needing this space to deal with the stress of working as a MD during the pandemic .
One last view of this woolgathering garden . Thank you for communion , Renee ! If you need to see more of this garden , check out Renee ’s instagram:@thepsychgarden
