Kalanchoe×edwardii’Roseleaf ' , or simplyKalanchoe’Roseleaf ' , is one of the two ( the other one isKalanchoe’Fang ' ) well - knowncultivarsselected fromKalanchoe×edwardii(an oldhybridthat results from a hybrid betweenKalanchoe beharensisandKalanchoe tomentosa ) . It was rear and take by Mrs. Minnie Hummel ( 1904 - 1993 ) of Hummel ’s Exotic Gardens in Carlsbad , California , United States . However , as it has long been conceive to be a cultivar ofKalanchoe beharensis , this industrial plant is often sold asKalanchoe beharensis’Roseleaf ' .

Kalanchoe’Roseleaf ' is an attractive succulent with upright , stocky stem that bear deltoid muscle , silvery green leaves with a velvety coating andserratedmargins . It can grow up to 12 inches ( 30 centimetre ) tall . The leaves are thick , heavy , and symmetrically fix up as in a cross . They are often chocolate-brown on the upper surface , and their margin can also be play up with dark-brown marking .

Kalanchoe’Roseleaf ' is quite similar toKalanchoe’Fang ' but lacks the tubercles on the back of the leaf .
