Matthew Curtis has joined the Dümmen Orange APAC team as the Business Development Manager – Australia & New Zealand .
ground in Sommerville , Victoria , Australia , Matthew will superintend Dümmen Orange ’s extensive electronic internet of customer throughout Australia and New Zealand .
Matthew brings with him more than 25 years of professional experience in gardening in sales , output , and operation . “ He has worked for finished plant growers , disseminator , and genetic science management caller . Matthew will be able-bodied to link you up with our proficient experts and ensure the knowledge is pass off on to you , ” said Nick Bennett , Director of Dümmen Orange Asia - Pacific .
After completing a Bachelor of Applied Science ( Biology / Biotechnology ) with a major in plant pathology in 1997 , Matthew set out at Floriana Wholesale Nursery as a Nursery Hand . Matthew worked at Floriana for nine years , spending time as a supervisor in the Seedling Department and Despatch and then march on to Scheduling . Floriana sold the branding to Oasis Horticulture , and Matthew move with the branding to Oasis and worked there as a scheduler for three days .
Matthew then move to Haars Nursery , work initially in the Scheduling section and then build up to Business Development Manager . After eight years , Matthew move to another family - run business in Majestic Young Plants as Operations Manager . Matthew spent seven days learning the generation techniques at Majestic Young Plants and then move to Plants Management Australia as National Relationship Manager . Before join Dümmen Orange , Matthew has traveled extensively around the world in the various roles he has held , visiting business deal shows , tissue paper refinement labs , run website , and breeders .
