One California mom has found a unique way to get her kids to eat their vegetables.

After years of puzzle out in the world of business , Cindy Rajhel decided to reprioritize . She stepped off the corporate ravel right into her California garden .

“ At 46 , with gray hairs come in and young small fry , it was time to take that leap and not see back , ” she says .

Now she fills her day put a fun spin on gardening and nature topics on her website calledHome Grown Fun . Her goal is to get people excited about spring up their own food , compost , and chatter out - of - the - average places .

Cindy remember vegetable horticulture as a baby and says her grandfather grow the unspoiled rhubarb plant that her grandmother baked into delicious strawberry - pieplant pies . Those computer memory came full - dress circle when she started growing comestible in her own backyard .
