Spring in a marvelous garden

Beautiful garry oak tree ( Quercusgarryana , Zones 6–9 ) cast wild shadows on the lawn . This specie of oak , aboriginal to the west coast of North America , is being threatened as its aboriginal habitat is ruin by urban development .

Sometimes simplicity is the most effective approach , as exemplified by this beautifulcontainerwith its singledwarf coniferoffset by a carpet of biddy - and - chicks ( Semperviviumsp , Zones 4–8 ) .
Thepondis ringed by beautiful stones and conifer . The leaf of waterlilies ( Nyphmaea , Zones 4–10 ) are just coming up to the airfoil .

This gorgeous trout lily is probably ‘ White Beauty ’ .
