I love scones . They are a lightly sweet delicacy without having a ton of loot in them . And when you trade out some of the fat for a healthier option then it is a win winnings .

I get it on scone . They are a lightly sweet treat without ingest a ton of dough in them . And when you trade out some of the fatness for a levelheaded selection then it is a win winnings . I have been desire to make these since I get along across the recipe in Tea Time clip but since I live so far from a source for the halt dried strawberries it took me for a while to get to them . If you were to expend fresh strawberries the scones would turn mushy but the frost dried give you all the flavorous strawberry goodness without the supererogatory moisture .

How to toast almonds
I wanted to show you how I toast the Prunus amygdalus . I just spread them in a dry nestling genus Pan and lease them drink . Some of these were too glowering so keep watch and get them just barely favourable . If they get too toasted they have a sharp nip that take away rather than enhances .
For mine I used a heart shaped cutter . wheel the dinero out on the floury parchment helped with them not sticking .
When the instructions say have them two in asunder on the baking sheet , they mean it … I had mine too close and they seek to combine together during broil .

I was in a haste and did not want to use 2 baking sail . The baking sheet I used is 16″ x 20″ and I really should ’ve used 2 .
These scones were a immense hit with my married man and we both loved the Brown Sugar Cream with them . I also slice strawberries to top them but failed to get a photo of that so practice your imagination !
Enjoy !
