Today ’s photos are from Bonnie Pancoast ( previous postsHERE ) , who ’s give us a special delicacy ! She says,“This yr I had the opportunity to chit-chat the 186th PHS Philadelphia Flower Show . My journeying there was supposed to take place on Thursday , March 5th , but a late winter snow storm frustrate all my plans . As a young child snow would not have been an obstacle , as trains ran day by day between the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia . Today my fellow and I had to drive in the south to Doylestown and board the gear at that location to journey into the city . What follow was a step into America ’s oldest flower show observe the atomic number 47 screen . With movie themes and birdsong playing in the backcloth , people go through acres of exhibits and vendors . I took over a hundred pictures and peel them down to 78 . Here are 9 of my deary including a pic showing the garden at the height of the March 5th snow tempest . Hope you enjoy the breathing time of saltation as much as I did . “Thanks , Bonnie , for not institutionalize all 78 photos – I would never have been able to pare them down myself – too much good stuff ! Thanks , alternatively , for posting them on your web log ! ( see the rest of Bonnie ’s pic of the showHERE ! )
