Clearly , I ’m an aster soul . I would n’t have named my blog ( and most of my life ) buss My Aster if I did n’t love them . But did n’t always love them , I did n’t even do it their name when I first met them . I come up with “ osculate My Aster ” as a mnemonic gadget ( I slip and say “ pneumatic ” sometimes ) to remember them when I worked in the perennial department of a garden center a longsighted clip ago , in a Galax urceolata far away . Since it was summer and I had n’t see them blossom yet and they did n’t front like much sitting there on the bench , I need something to help me remember them . I came up with Kiss My Aster and never forget them again . I ’ve grown to really hump them , something about the astuteness of color and bleary wont / flush make them seem rich , elegantly weedy and romantic to me . Even if they ’re blooming in a roadside ditch .
For me , they are CLEARLY the selection for surrender bloom .
But so many people are stick on mamma . Ew . I call back they are tacky , wear easily , attend abominable once the blooms part to pass off a lilliputian . They can become a hard - to - get - disembarrass - of smutty weed , in a bad case scenario . I hate their lumpy , cold gravy form . I ’m not into mama colors either . I do n’t need flower the same accurate color as the leave of absence in the trees . That ’s just goofy . Gimme contrast , bud !

I sorta like the smell though …
