Despite the drouth , Jim Hoose ’s garden is in full bloom .
" This is one of several photos of my very unpaid garden in Easton , PA . This picky exposure is from October 1st of this twelvemonth after our first substantial rainwater in almost seven hebdomad . To say it has been a tough year here with seven heat waves and drought is an understatement . The gardens are all about six years old or less and in an almost unvarying stage of passage . perennial predominate and the shade beds are becoming quite constituted . "
